We need real prophets - - not entertainers.  If Jesus Christ wore a crown of thorns, why do Christ's ministers today expect just a crown of roses?  Most preachers who are popular in today's society are always careful to be sweet, to speak smooth things, and to tickle the ears of their listeners.  II Timothy 3:3,4

Start your study right - the Bible way!  Pray to God that your eyes and ears be opened so that you can see and perceive and hear and understand what God is saying in His Word.  Otherwise, you are just wasting your time!
